Cleaning steps: After cleaning with pure water, then rinse with clean water for injection; soak the ceramic pump with 1-3% NAOH for 5-15 minutes, which is equivalent to depyrogenation, and then rinse with clean water for injection.

Sterilization step: Sterilize with high-pressure moist heat steam. The sterilization temperature is 121°C, the pressure is 0.1MPA, and the time is 30 minutes. Of course, this needs to be determined by process inspection.

Precautions:

1. Do not use fluorine-containing chemical solution to contact stainless steel to prevent corrosion of stainless steel parts; do not pull the ceramic column and ceramic plug of the ceramic metering component in hot water higher than 40 °C during cleaning, and the ceramic plug should be removed for cleaning; The ceramic rod and ceramic plug cannot be exchanged during the process; during sterilization, the rotary valve, ceramic plug and metering rod should be left in a special washing and sterilizing box, and the ceramic rod and ceramic plunger should be vertically hung for moist heat sterilization; After sterilization, the temperature of the pump body should be lowered to room temperature before the installation operation; before the temperature of the pump body drops to room temperature, the cracking and deformation of the pump body caused by sudden cooling should be avoided.

If there is yellow dirt on the contact part between the ceramic pump body and the liquid medicine, it can be soaked in 10% oxalic acid for 0.5-1 hour, and then rinsed with water for injection; because the hardness of ceramics is greater than that of stainless steel, the contact between ceramics and stainless steel can make the ceramic surface adhere to the surface. Stainless steel, which cannot be handled cleanly, will presumably cause the filling pump to run poorly or not move, resulting in damage. When washing and sterilizing, use non-metallic materials (such as tetrafluoroethylene) as storage containers; when the plunger sleeve, plunger, and groove valve are removed from the machine for use, please place the plunger sleeve vertically, and the plunger The groove valve is tied with a rope and is vertically in the air by gravity to prevent deformation.
